Find out Exciting Things Going on this weekend in Chicago from Exhibits, Festivals, Markets, and more!
1. Pop Up Grocer
A trendy pop up grocery store that has traveled across the country has made its debut in Chicago in hip neighborhood of Wicker Park. The innovative store is first of its kind with a shopping experience of over 400 exciting up and coming brands to pick from. Great products range from food, beverage, pet, body, and home brands. Majority of the brands are supporting women owned and plant based companies throughout the country which is exciting!
Also, fresh baked goods from local favorite ELKSE will be available along with amazing other options that are gluten free and nut free. With some many options there is something delicious for everyone!
My favorite is Magic Spoon cereal which is a household favorite with my husband and kids. 🥣
The pop-up will be open 9 a.m.-7 p.m. daily til the end of May. Go check it out and grab some amazing new and fun products.
2. Navy Pier Fireworks
With the much anticipated reopening of Navy Pier they are celebrating by doing a beautiful 10-minute display of fireworks for the remainder of May on Saturdays at 9pm. Now that the weather is breaking to spring temperatures you can enjoy the striking display from the lakefront, various beaches, or the comfort of an amazing rooftop in Chicago.
There is a whisper of continuing the weekly summer firework show this summer but we will have to stay tuned with our fingers crossed!

This beautiful market is displaying local vendors who created items that are unique and specially crafted for that special piece you have been looking for. Discover of one-of-a-kind or small batch items you never thought to look for with the Makers Market that will be specializing in home decor, fashion, art, design, food, and many more finds.
I love supporting small businesses specially after the trying year of so many businesses struggling so please go support this amazing market.
