The Lobby restaurant at The Peninsula Chicago hotel is presenting a sushi experience with a pop culture twist every Friday and Saturday until November 18. Guests can relish the nostalgia of iconic pop songs with creatively named cocktails and groovy tunes from the ’80s and ’90s, all while savoring delectable maki rolls, such as the Crunch Smoke Lobster Maki and Spicy Scallop Maki, as well as an assortment of sashimi, nigiri, and appetizers. For those seeking a more hands-off dining experience, there’s also a tempting chef’s tasting menu available.

Seadog Haunted Tours

Until Oct. 31st
Set sail on a 75-minute boat excursion that delves into the eerie history of Chicago, all while meandering past some of the city’s most stunning architectural wonders. This evening voyage is led by a guide in period costume who brings to life notorious events and paranormal happenings from Chicago’s past.

Schaumburg Halloween Carnival

Venture into the suburbs during the Halloween season and experience the excitement of the second annual Schaumburg Halloween Carnival. This festive fair spans across two weekends, offering a plethora of spine-tingling rides, trick-or-treating, themed arts and crafts, snack vendors, and more. Adding to the thrill, Wintrust Field will be metamorphosing into The House of Creeps haunted house. While entry to the carnival is free, you have the option to purchase ride wristbands for unlimited access to classic rides like the Krazy Kabin, Matterhorn, and Sizzler. Please note that parking is available at a rate of $5 per vehicle.
