🏛️ HISTORIC GRAND OPENING · FREE · SOUTH SIDE/HYDE PARK · ALL AGES

The Obama Presidential Center Opens This Weekend

📅 Saturday June 20 and Sunday June 21 · Opening weekend programming📍 Jackson Park, South Side, Hyde Park🎟️ Free · obama.org · All ages

This is a genuinely historic weekend for Chicago. The Obama Presidential Center officially opens to the public this Juneteenth weekend in Jackson Park on the South Side, and it is doing it the right way with free community celebrations, live entertainment, art experiences and family programming all weekend long. Shuttle service will connect attendees from other Juneteenth events across the city so it is easy to make this part of a bigger weekend.

Bringing your kids to witness something like this is the kind of memory that stays with them. A presidential library and museum opening in our own city, on our own South Side, designed to be a genuine community gathering space rather than just a museum behind glass. Go Saturday or Sunday, walk the campus, take in the art and let your kids understand that history happens in the city they call home.

🏡 Realtor Mom Take: The Obama Presidential Center is going to be a meaningful long-term catalyst for the South Side, particularly Hyde Park and Woodlawn. This part of the city is worth a serious look, and a landmark institution like this opening right in the neighborhood only strengthens that case. Additionally, the highly desirable Lab School is located here which is a K-12 school and the University of Chicago has a big draw for academics, doctors and professors to the prestigious Hyde Park neighborhood. You can find historic mansions amidst the Cherry blossoms and the proximity to the lake, it has something for everyone.with

We Made the WSJ/RealTrends List. Here Is What That Means for You.

A Ranking We Are Genuinely Proud Of

We have some news to share this week and we are not going to be shy about it. The Yeager Team was just named to The Wall Street Journal’s Real Trends rankings. We came in at #34 among small teams in all of Illinois and #12 in the city of Chicago. This list recognizes the top 1.5 percent of top producing real estate agents nationwide and the premier small teams in the state. Out of every team in Illinois, we are in rarefied company, and out of every team in Chicago specifically, we are firmly in the top tier.

Here is what that ranking actually means for you if you are thinking about buying or selling. It means the strategy, the pricing guidance and the negotiation experience you get when you work with us has been independently recognized at a national level. It is not just us telling you we know this market. It is one of the most respected names in business journalism confirming it with real production data.

We could not have gotten here without our amazing team, and we want to say a real thank you to every client who trusted us with one of the biggest decisions of their life, every friend and colleague who has cheered us on, and every referral partner who has sent someone our way over the years. This recognition reflects all of that trust and we do not take a single bit of it for granted.

What This Means for Your Next Move

Rankings like this exist because results compound over time. Every listing we have priced correctly, every negotiation we have won for a buyer, every market shift we have called accurately, all of it adds up to a track record that the data now backs up publicly. If you are weighing whether now is the right time to sell or whether you are ready to make a move as a buyer, this is exactly the kind of experience you want in your corner. Find out what your home is worth today and let’s put that experience to work for you.
