KOCO Fest

The Kenwood Oakland Community Organization hosts this annual celebration for all ages. Sangria Festival

During this boozy bash, Humboldt Park transforms into an outdoor tapas bar, offering bites from local restaurants paired with pitchers of red wine and chopped fruit. Spread out a blanket on the lawn to sip sangria, add color to a canvas at the festival’s painting station, or enjoy live salsa and Brazilian dance music.

Xtreme Experiences

If you’ve ever dreamed of getting behind the wheel of a supercar and taking it around a track, head to Autobahn Country Club in Joliet from August 15-18. Xtreme Xperience offers participants the chance to drive or ride along in a variety of exotic cars, including the Ferrari 488 GTB, Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4, Porsche 911 GT3, Audi R8 V10 Performance, Nissan GT-R, and more. The four-lap rides take place on a 1.46-mile race track, with professional instructors guiding you through the course—no experience needed.
