The countdown to spring is continuing! Here are some things to help you get through the winter blues.
Night Snow Tubing
Prepare for a night of snow tubing excitement. Enthusiasts will gather at the Long Room, and transportation will be arranged to a neighboring mountain. Following the tubing adventure, recharge with food and beverages before returning to the city.
Winter Wonderland
Partake in photo sessions with Snow Queen Elsa and Olaf, engage in fun activities like ice castle forts in the gym, mini golf, curling, and winter-themed crafts. Additionally, indulge in a bake sale, explore food vendors, and enjoy activities hosted by local businesses.
A suggested donation at the entrance is $25 per family or $10 per person, and all forms of payment are accepted. Once inside, everything is complimentary except for food and bake sale purchases. The proceeds from the event will contribute to the benefit of our school.
Sushi Making Class at Sunda
Embark on a journey to craft your own traditional maki rolls through a hands-on class at Sunda. Seasoned chefs will lead you through the art of creating temaki (hand-rolled sushi), futomaki (fat-rolled sushi), and uramaki (inside-out rolled sushi). Explore the intricacies of assembling these delicious rolls using elements like seaweed wraps, rice, spicy tuna, and other flavorful ingredients under the expert guidance of our chefs.
Cider Summit Chicago
Get ready for the return of the region’s grandest cider tasting event at Navy Pier’s Aon Grand Ballroom. The 10th edition promises an impressive lineup with over 150 ciders, cider cocktails, and fruit spirits curated from more than 40 producers.
This year introduces an exciting addition—an optional cider-cheese-charcuterie tasting before the summit officially begins. Immerse yourself in the diverse flavors and pairings to enhance your tasting experience.
And when hunger strikes, indulge in delectable bites from the on-site food trucks, ensuring that your culinary cravings are as well-satisfied as your thirst for fine ciders. Don’t miss out on this celebration of all things cider at the Aon Grand Ballroom.
