Celebrate Labor Day at Navy Pier, where the Beer Garden presents three days of free live music entertainment during the weekend. Moreover, this Labor Day Weekend offers your final opportunity to relish the summer fireworks showcased at Navy Pier. The vicinity boasts a large Ferris Wheel and numerous attractions suitable for all age groups throughout the day. As night falls, the vibrant display illuminates the skies from the heart of Lake Michigan. The fireworks spectacle is scheduled for Saturday at 10:15 pm and extends for a breathtaking 15-minute duration, all free of charge. You have the option to observe it from Navy Pier or along the shoreline, with downtown rooftop bars serving as excellent alternative vantage points.

Quick Vacay Roadtrips

Utilize the three-day weekend as a splendid opportunity for embarking on a day excursion to explore the scenic attractions of Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Consider visiting the renowned Nordhouse Dunes, situated 49 miles (79 km) away from Chicago. Alternatively, immerse yourself in the verdant beauty of Starved Rock State Park, a 93-mile (150 km) journey. Another option is to discover the captivating Wisconsin Dells Area, which lies at a distance of 195 miles (314 km) from Chicago.

Have a safe and happy holiday, and don’t forget to enjoy Chicago 🙂
