Winterland

While tossing a pitch at Wrigley Field may not be on your agenda, you can still embrace the winter spirit by strapping on your skates and gliding across the ice within the renowned baseball field this winter. Winterland at Gallagher Way, the yearly holiday extravaganza featuring events such as Christkindlmarket Wrigleyville, is once again relocating some of its festive offerings indoors at the ballpark for the 2023 season, featuring highlights like the 12,000-square-foot Gallagher Ice Rink.

Elf’d Up

The spotlight at this Wrigleyville pop-up, situated within Stretch Bar & Grill, is on the 2003 holiday film Elf. The venue is transformed with over 1,000 decorative elves, Christmas trees, and an abundance of festive lights. Guests can settle in at tables stocked with the four main food groups (candy, candy canes, candy corn, and syrup) and indulge in specialties like Buddy’s breakfast pasta (spaghetti loaded with maple syrup, chocolate fudge, and syrup, topped with mini marshmallows and strawberry frosted pop tarts) or enjoy a beer presented in a 36-ounce elf boot.
