Explore the neighborhood’s lush gardens on this self-guided tour, highlighting the green-thumbed efforts of local residents. Download a map online to navigate through Bucktown’s gardens, where some locations will feature live music and visual artists working throughout the day.

Movies In The Park

From June through September, Chicago’s annual Movies in the Parks program will feature dozens of films screened in parks across the city. Enjoy recent blockbusters like Barbie and Wonka, as well as classics like The Princess Bride and Space Jam, all for free under the stars. Screenings usually start at 8:30 PM or dusk. Canine Cruise

Bring your furry best friend to Impact Field, home of the independent professional baseball team, The Chicago Dogs, for an evening of dog-friendly fun! The first 1,500 fans will receive a bandana for their pups upon entry, and all pets are welcome to run the bases after the game. Tickets start at just $9.

Southport Art Fest

The Southport Corridor hosts its annual two-day art festival, featuring a diverse array of artists and local vendors near landmarks such as the Music Box Theatre. Visitors can browse artwork, shop at Southport Avenue stores, enjoy an area filled with interactive games for kids, and relax on patios with food and drink specials throughout the weekend. All proceeds benefit the Southport Neighbors Association.
