Fall In The City : Chicago Edition

Time is flying by and fall is just around the corner. It’s never too early to get into the spirit of hot cider and pumpkins…right? Chicago offers so many different attractions during the fall, but I decided to start with just 3 to get autumn kicked off. The temperatures are cooling down and the air is turning crisp. Here is what you can enjoy before winter hits.

Apple Picking

Apple Orchards In Chicago

You may not think of apple picking when you think of the city, but there are many orchards located in the suburbs around Chicago. Some are smaller and only offer apple picking while others offer hot cider, donuts, and attractions for kids. Apple picking season has started and goes until mid October. Apple pie anyone? Honeycrisp apples fall first so make sure you get there super early in the season to get your favorite pick!
