West Town Brewing District’s Dancing In The Streets

Set amid the Chicago Brewing District, this jam-band focused street festival invites guests to take in multiple sets from live music while enjoying a cold beer. Local brewers will be pouring beer all weekend long, accompanied by an array of West Town restaurants and food trucks. Find a tie dye shirt and get ready to dance.

 Dim Sum and Then Some: The Uptown 5K/10k & Kids Dash

August 5th, 2023

This annual race by the Chinese Mutual Aid Association raises funds for Uptown’s low income immigrant and refugee community. Participate in a kids dash (half-mile), 5K or 10K along the lakefront; all runners will receive a race tee, bib, finisher medal, dim sum and bubble tea.

Saturday Night at the Zoo

August 5th, 2023

Sip on beer, wine, seltzer and cocktails while strolling through Lincoln Park Zoo and hanging out with nearly 200 animal species at this adults-only evening. A live DJ will spin tunes, and there will also be karaoke, lawn games and vendors serving up delicious bites.
