July is here! Check out some of the amazing events happening this weekend for families and adults below!
Nascar Street Race
NASCAR is back in Chicago for another thrilling weekend of street racing, with cars speeding over 100 miles per hour along Lake Shore Drive, Michigan Avenue, Columbus Drive, and other downtown streets. You can buy tickets to catch all the action from reserved seats and designated viewing areas, and also enjoy concerts by The Chainsmokers, The Black Keys, Keith Urban, and Lauren Alaina.
CLUE
Based on the beloved family board game, this immersive and interactive experience lets guests step into the roles of iconic CLUE characters as they work to solve the murder of estate owner Boden “Boddy” Black. The mystery begins at Block 37, where detectives are welcomed by the Butler before embarking on a quest to gather clues from popular Chicago sites and shops. Participants will hunt for long-lost antiques and determine who committed the crime, where it happened, and with what weapon.
Chess Night
Chess Night, a recurring event founded by University of Chicago students Ross Shapiro and Dylan Sunjic in honor of slain local bartender Diego Damis, is heading to the iconic Wiener’s Circle for its next gathering. Spend an afternoon playing chess with fellow enthusiasts of all skill levels, with boards and clocks provided. Interested participants must RSVP to attend, and can join the waitlist to be notified when spots become available.
Craft Beer Fest
The Chicago Craft Beer Festival is back at Jonquil Park for a three-day celebration of craft brews. With multiple sessions each day, limited to 600 attendees per session (200 for VIP), it’s important to snag a tasting ticket to secure your spot. Enjoy a bite to eat before you start sampling. General Admission tickets include 12 tastings and a commemorative glass, while VIP tickets offer five additional specialty beers and private seating.
