Fall is around the corner and with that I need activities to keep my toddler from getting cabin fever.  I am one to always look for bargains and deals in order to stretch my dollar as far as it can go.

First, your local Chicago Park district has many activities from early childhood and up.  The classes are incredibly well priced for your tots.  I just booked Holden in a story-time/drama/art class as well as a sing-a-long class.  He was in the sing-a-long class last session and loved it.  You can find out more and discover a local park near you at http://www.chicagoparkdistrict.com/programs/ – Definitely don’t delay as the classes fill up fast!

Also consider Lil’ Kickers.  It’s a bit pricier than the park district, however the classes are almost an hour in length, which is worth it to me.  Holden loves this weekly activity and has met new friends, learned how to follow instructions as well as self-coordination.  He always looks forward to seeing Coach Amy too!  We just enrolled him in the fall session and are looking forward to continue the group play indoors.  http://www.lilkickerschicago.com
