I’ve been taking Holden to this ‘school’ for the past 7 weeks now and he absolutely LOVES it!  The teachers are wonderful, animated and really enjoy working with kids.  The learning through play environment gets the kids accustomed to the structure of preschool without being rigid or overly structured.  It’s just FUN!  They also have classes for older tots where you drop them off and they are solo.  A great way for you to get some work done or run errands.

Holden is in the hour-long class for 18mo – 2+ year olds and has a play schedule that includes: open play, art, story/sing-a-long, snack time, interactive story time, dancing with bubbles, and finally goodbyes with stickers!  Clean up is always encouraged after each activity, and the kids really listen and do their share.  All the kids have to wash their hands before snack as well, and I think this may be Holden’s favorite part as he has to be first in line in order to get to his snack the fastest.

The facility is clean, secure and well appointed with an inviting entryway to wipe your shoes and hang your coats.  Sofas for parents either dropping off or picking up their kids.  The staff is constantly cleaning and disinfecting which is something I always love to see.

I also think that it is great that nothing is forced upon the kids, if they don’t feel like participating in story time and want to play on their own, they can.  A positive environment that is keen on learning through play, working together and socializing with other kids is great and really something your child should be apart of.  Check out their website and find a class that fits your child’s age (from 5 months and up) and have fun!
