Winter Home Maintenance

As winter rears its ugly head it means it’s time to fire up the heat and stay warm indoors. In order for your HVAC system to run properly and have a long life it is important to service it at least once a year and it is recommended to do so in the winter. If you want to be extra cautious you can get it serviced in the summer and winter (this is what we do to ensure maximum use and minimum break downs).

I have gone through countless heating and cooling companies and nobody could seem to figure out our system other than North Park Heating and Cooling. These guys are amazing! They a locally grown family owned company that give it to you straight. When you call on them for service they not only clean your system, they also check for potential hazards and problems and fix them so that you don’t lose heat at 2am and have to call the emergency line. It seems as though all companies would operate this way, but that is not the case. I can tell you that before we made the switch to North Park we had at least a 1/2 a dozen emergency calls for no heat in the middle of the night, not to mention the service guy was there just days before. We were then charged triple for the emergency call…talk about irritating.

We have been with North Park for several years now and our furnace has never worked better and I can’t rave about them more.

Just for RaisingKidsInChicago readers they are offering a special winter service rate of $49.99 (regularly $69.99). Don’t delay all them today to make sure you are toasty warm this winter.

Ask for Derek and mention this blog for the special rate of $49.99
